Cargo E-Chartbook The air charter and air cargo industry continues to recover from the economic global slump of 2009 and early 2010. The price of oil has moved above $85/barrel but remains within a band of $80-$100 and there are indicators that this price is stable. Per the report "US cargo airline margins in Q2 2010 close to those of Q2 2008;elsewhere Q3 data for our sample of airlines shows a sharp rebound; although less optimism about the future still more optimists than pessimists." There are also wide variations between regions with the Middle East and North Africa contributing to a spike in growth.
